A full field of 342 golfers from 33 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico visited the Grand Strand in early March in its quest for more than $10,000 in prizes offered in the 2025 TRUE Linkswear World Am Q School held at True Blue and nine additional Myrtle Beach-area courses.
The event was an individual net stroke play competition played over three days and 54 holes, flighted by handicap regardless of gender or age. The top three finishers in each flight received a trophy, with the first- through 10th-place overall finishers earning complimentary and discounted entries into the 2025 PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Championship in August 2025.
True Blue, the Fazio Course at Barefoot Resort, Aberdeen and Wachesaw Plantation East hosted opening round play. Eagle Nest, River Hills and Thistle joined Wachesaw East in hosting second-round action, while Rivers Edge and the Jones and Byrd courses at Sea Trail joined True Blue in staging final-round play.
